About us

Carbon-Drive is the only spindle manufacturer in the world that has succeeded in using the full potential of carbon fibre to break through the physical limits of steel and thus produce the motor spindles of the next generation. We are thus heralding the next logical evolutionary step towards ultra-light but high-strength and -rigid structures made of carbon in machine tool construction. Just as has long been proven in aerospace or racing, this will enable a new dimension of performance. The lower mass paired with the higher stiffness and damping leads to an increase in dynamic stiffness, and thus to better surfaces and lower non-productive times.
