About us

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Machine Tool Co., Ltd. became independent from the Machine Tool Department of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in October 2015. Four years have already passed since becoming independent.
Thanks to your cooperation, the effort to establish a combined manufacturing and sales organization has gradually taken root in these four years. Now I feel that we have become to be closer to customers, agencies and partners. Recently, I have increasingly heard "straightforward" needs of you on a real-time basis, such as what bothers you, what worries you or what is inconvenient to you.
Some of those cases, however, relate to insufficient implementation of our basic mottoes "Quality First" and "Customer First", declared two and a half years ago. Now we are trying to further strengthen our efforts to achieve "High-Quality Monozukuri". We are also focusing not only on sales of machines alone, but also on offering solutions to customers contributing to production and IoT-based services. To provide these even more suitably and timely, we will further brush up our communication capability so that we can listen to and understand customer needs even more carefully than ever. We are committed to ensure that all employees are ready to hold open and honest conversations with customers in order to achieve the ultimate goals of "Quality First" and "Customer First". I would like you to extend continued support and guidance to us.

Last September, we participated in one of the world's largest machine tool exhibitions held in Hannover, Germany (EM02019), to exhibit our technology and products related to internal gear machining and metallic 3-D printers. In this exhibition we showed actual machines using internal gear grinding technology (ZI20A) and SuperSkiving system, which are under research and development jointly with RWTH Aachen University and are gaining attention with the trend of electric vehicles. Also we introduced prototypes of the metallic 3-D printer LAMDA, which were exposed to many visitors and highly rated. Thank you very much.
