For over thirty years OML has been involved in the design and manufacture of clamping equipment for mechanical processing on machine tools and boasts the development of a wide range of advanced solutions, both standard and customized.
azienda OMLThe highly innovative content, the great functionality of its solutions and the specialized know-how, also acquired through collaboration with some machine tool manufacturers, allow OML, which became part of the SMW Autoblok Group since 1998, to operate in application sectors. characterized by mechanical machining with high added value where extreme precision and rapid tooling times are required.
In October 2021, the company moved to a new headquarters, located in Trivolzio, in the province of Pavia. The new headquarters covers a total property of approximately 18,000 square meters; of the 8,800 covered square meters, 1,000 are used as offices (executive offices, meeting rooms, design office, sales office, training room), while the remaining are occupied by showroom, workshop, assembly department, metrology room and warehouse.
The current production capacity of OML makes use of an advanced machine tool park, which is constantly engaged in saturation over two working shifts. Two new machining centers served by a sophisticated palletizing system with 62 pallets, 800x800 mm in size for a payload of over 3,000 kg; the system is designed for the enslavement of two other machining centers.
The ideal solution to give production greater autonomy at night. Training is an indispensable way of communicating the technologies and technical solutions that are distinctive of OML products compared to other market proposals. A "training room" was created close to the showroom precisely to create that immediate correlation between the theoretical part and the practical part.
In the showroom, where all OML products are exhibited, the customer can see and try those products on which an investment is being evaluated. The technical department and Research & Development activities are aimed at defining innovative products that allow us to offer the market technologically advanced, patented and advanced performance solutions.
