Realignment of the management of ROTOR TOOL GmbH. Marcel Britt takes over the operative management together with the plant manager David Roider. The family-owned company goes into the future with the next generation! Daniel Roider will remain with the company until further notice.

The machine park could be extended in the area of milling (Hermle C32) and turning (Okuma LB3000EX).
2007
...the renowned precision chuck of the Graber company was taken over. The Graber chuck as well as the accessories (jaws, flanges, air supply pipes etc.) will be manufactured and distributed in Oetwil from March 2007.
2004
...the machine park could be extended with an internal grinding machine Tripet TST 120 and a universal cylindrical grinding machine Kel-Vista. The core competence "grinding" was thus further consolidated.
2001
...several new products were presented at the EMO in Hannover:
a set with various tip and hollow tip inserts, Main-Line, Type K
Tips with extended and extremely slim spindle, Main-Line, Type L
high-precision tips with small head for grinding and fine turning, HP-Line
1999
...was again an eventful year. A larger industrial property, also in Oetwil am See, was acquired and rebuilt.
1997
...ROTOR TOOL GmbH was certified according to the ISO 9001 standards.
Also in the course of 1997 the previous Main-Line was revised. Instead of the adjustable needle roller bearings, maintenance-free standard bearings are used in the MK 1 ST to MK 6 ST versions. The modern tips in the new design meet today's requirements for high accuracy and reliability without special maintenance. The large tips, from MK 6 SU upwards, are still built with adjustable bearings.
1995
...Monika and Daniel Roider founded the ROTOR TOOL GmbH. All ROTOR activities were now handled by the newly founded company. ROTOR became original equipment manufacturer of various machine manufacturers. The high-precision special tips (max. concentricity deviation of 0.002 mm) are intended to help ensure the high quality requirements in, among other things, cylindrical grinding and hard turning.
1993
On the occasion of the EMO in Hanover, the coloured Eco-Line tips and a forehead driver programme were presented in addition to the existing range.
1992
The sole proprietorship D. Roider Präzisionsmechanik, founded in 1974, acquired the well-established ROTOR range in spring.
1982
After the death of Mrs. Scherler, the company Holzegger AG, Rapperswil acquired all rights concerning the ROTOR products. Thanks to the still very active partners at home and abroad, the ROTOR tips could be sold well.
1941
After patent protection expired, the Scherler siblings separated. Hans Scherler founded his own company and produces identical lace under the product name Favor.
Shortly after the war, a European who had just immigrated to Canada with his family relied on the proven ROTOR lace. The "parade horse" ROTOR was responsible for securing the family's existence in the first few years. In the sixties the market share of rotating tips in Canada was over 50%. KAR Ltd. is still one of the three most important ROTOR customers today.
ROTOR is also the undisputed number 1 in Switzerland. ROTOR tips have become the technical term for rotating tips.
1927
...the Scherler family bought the ROTOR patent, founded a manufacturing company, produced and distributed the first lace.
Already in the first business years the innovative clamping tool could be exported to England, France and Austria.
1926
...the ROTOR tip was patented in Switzerland as the world's first rotating counter-tip. Main features were the adjustable needle bearing and the disc spring which protects the axial bearing against overload.
